The Volcan de Fuego erupted on June 3rd, 2018 in the Escuintla region of Guatemala. 109 people were confirmed dead and 200 people were confirmed missing. The eruption lasted 16 hours and was described by the Washington Post as "a 1,300-degree river of hell that can move faster than anyone can run." Movement and activity is scientifically proven to heal the mind. The goal of this campaign is to fill the void left by the tragedy.
I created a typeface for this project inspired by reading Phil Knight's, "Shoe Dog". The book is about Knight's journey to create the Nike brand - originally called Blue Ribbon Sports.
